CHAPTER TWO

Takato cocked an eyebrow. "Who is the strongest clan in the Leaf?" He asked flat out.

Hiro frowned, unsure of how to answer,"Why do you ask?"He countered.

Takato shrugged. "Simple curiosity." He answered with enough interogation training to come off cooly.

He frowned but straightened up."If you want a sparring match you have but to ask."Hiro said.

"With the esteemed hokage? That is an honor reserved for kages a sannin." Takato stated covering the jest in his voice.

Hiro laughed,"Come now Takato-san! If i was afraid of my ninjas i would be a poor hokage indeed."He said, his chakra amost visibly swirling,"On guard, Takato-kun."

Takato nodded with a slight bow and position his feet in a sugar foot stance and oddly placing both palms facing out and arms slightly bent. It resembled no known fighting style. "Experiance first."

Hiro nodded,"Very well."He said as he made the sign for lightning,"Raiton: Raisoku shundo!"He said softly as his entir body was transformed into lightning and he flashed forward at near the speed of light.

Instinct was the only thing Takato could react with as every iron molecule in his body bonded at once to form dense skin. This speed was incredible, and a raiton? A lightening user, i have to play it safe. He took the blow full on but it didnt break the skin, he was barely able to absorb the blow and bring his feet off the ground so the lightening wouldnt complete a circuit and fry him, instead the shear force of the blow against his reinforced skin sent him through the air and skidding into a crouch halt some dozen feet away. "Fast Hokage-sama."

"Thank you."Hiro said as he made another sign,"Allow me to test this new jutsu, Takato-san. you'll want to dodge though."He said as he finshed his sign weaving,"Lightning style, Wind style! Arashiton!!!:Tenka Tatsumaki No Jutsu!"(Storm style: lightning twistwer technique!)He said as a giant vortex of energy and wind formed and hurled headlong at him.

"Dodging is for support, tanks go through! Kinzoku tenshu kougake!" Takato grabbed his chain belt as his hands began to glow, the metal lept to meld around his hands forming two gauntlets, each with coils around them. He lept into the air adding a twist to counter the rotation and punched into the storm, the coils collecting the electricity. Before he could touch the ground he aimed a falling haymaker at Hiro, therefore if hiro dodged the stored electricity would discharge into the ground and not through his body, or hopefully shock Hiro.

Hiro could not dodge as the jutsu was draining upon the user, however the shock did not affect him. He slid back and grinned,"That'll do, incidentaly lightning has no effect upon me Takato-san. But good try. That will be enough for now."

Takato was a bit confussed but recalled his gaunlets anyway. "It figures a raiton user wouldnt be effected by his own element." Takato bowed as was custome after a spar. His lightening justu is amazing judgeing only on the discharge.

Hiro bowed in return and sat down,"Now tell me Takato-san. That jutsu is an advanced earth art correct?"

"In lamens terms yes it is the use of double earth style chakra, exclusive to the Nakini clan that is correct. I thought lightening users were more of Kumogakures area?" Takato smiled a bit, he was starting to like this man.

Hiro nodded,"Very sharp, and correct in a sense."He said as he reclothed himself in his hokage robes,"I however have a kekki-genkai that gives me a dual nature of lightining and wind styles."

"Ah, both blessed with a family curse." Takato chuckled at his own joke.

hiro nodded gravley,"Hai."he looked up,"So, what do you think? the other villages dont seem to be upholding the treatys any ideas?"

Takato raised an eyebrow at the open ended question. "By treaties you mean specificaly....."

"the aggrements to support one another in times of need and supplies, as well as not attacking without true dispute."He said, rising up and looking off."Ah, it seems if our guests have arrived, Takatoif you will?"He said motioning towards the forest to hide.

"Natalia get a move on! We're gonna be late if you go any slower!" Twilight huffed.
"Sorry Twilight-sama." Natalia replied. Twilight smiled and ruffled her hair. "We're meeting the Hokage silly. Not some boring old ninja." She teased. The two finally got on their way to the seventh training ground so that they could endure the test of the Hokage.

Takato vanished into the foliage, not even ruslting a leaf.

Twilight looked around warily for a few seconds before taking Natalia's wrist and guiding her into the forest. "I don't like this place Twilight-sama." Natalia said softly.

I know Nat but we have to go through here to get to the place we have to be. If it's any consolation, I don't like this place either." Twilight whispered back to her.

Hiro suddenyl appeared in front of them,"Ah! you are finally here. Welcome to the forest."

Twilight dropped into a fighting stance from shock before relaxing at the sight of the Hokage. "Thank you....?" She said uncertainly. Natalia clutched to her back and Twilight sighed. "Nat use the backbone you were born with woman." She hissed. Natalia nodded and straightened.

Hiro chuckled and started walking away,"if you will follow me i will show you the testing grounds."

Twilight and Natalia followed silently behind the exuberant seeming man. "He sure is strange." Natalia whispered. Twilight smirked.
